Make the Connection

It's not a coincidence that the healthiest way to live is also the most compassionate to all beings and the most beneficial to our shared environment.

Yogastha kuru karmani:

A phrase that has shaped our lives for over a decade. It means perform every action in yoga. The essence of yoga is union of mind, body, and spirit. True union extends far beyond ourselves. Our minds and thoughts are intertwined with others, our physical body's health is interdependent with the health of the planet, and our spirit emphatically sees that everything and every being is connected. No matter where we are on our journey, there's room to expand and evolve our lifestyle and awareness to areas that will benefit our extended minds, bodies, and spirits.

Most yoga disciplines work toward bringing 1 of the 3 aspects: mind, body, or spirit, into alignment, allowing the other 2 to follow. If you work on the physical body through breath work and postures, it quiets the mind and harmonizes the spirit. We practice a similar philosophy: taking either ethical compassion, environmental concern, or physical health intentions, and expanding awareness to how all 3 are integral parts of the others. It's not a coincidence that the healthiest way to live is also the most compassionate to all beings and the most beneficial to our shared environment.

At Plant Prana, you will not find a guru. We encourage you to listen to the guru within. Our goal is to help you become an ambassador for a better world: a world in which violence toward other beings isn't a commodity, where we can live symbiotically with the earth and achieve true health by cultivating balance and harmony.
